Introduction of PAWC Registration 

This year’s PAWC competition is divided into four categories for registration: Adult Championship Team, Junior Championship Team, Traditional Competition Team, and Sanda Team.
Pan-American countries will register through their respective national wushu federations, following their own selection methods and unified registration through their wushu federations.

 

PAWC U.S. team registration:

Eligibility:

All PAWC participants must be U.S. citizens and valid members of USAWKF. Registration must be coordinated through USAWKF For registration, contact USAWKF@USAWKF.org.
PAWC Adult Championship Group:
Athletes from Teams A, B, and C selected in Texas in May 2023 can register to participate. There may also be allowances for substitutes or a small number of additional spots, with the final number of registrations to be decided by USAWKF.
PAWC Junior Championship Group:
Athletes from Teams A, B, and C selected in California in May 2024 can register to participate. There may also be allowances for substitutes or a small number of additional spots, with the final number of registrations to be decided by USAWKF.
PAWC Traditional Competition Group:
Athletes can only register for traditional events such as Shaolin, Taiji, Wing Chun/Cai Li Fo, etc. Athletes who have qualified through USAWKF-authorized traditional selection competitions within the two years are eligible to register.
PAWC Sanda Registration:
Athletes must have qualified through the Texas selection in 2023 or the selection in Arizona in July 2024 to register for participation.
*The Pan-American Wushu Championships is the highest-level Wushu competition in the Pan-American region Hosted by the Pan American Wushu Federation. It represents the pinnacle of Wushu in the Pan-American region. According to PAWF regulations, all Pan-American national teams participating in the PAWC competition, including the U.S. team, must stay at the designated competition hotel, and each country’s wushu federation will collect and pay all fees etc.

Introduction of PAWT Registration

The Pan American Wushu Tournament (PAWT), sanctioned by both PAWF and the USAWKF. This large-scale intercontinental open tournament welcomes participation from international wushu organizations and enthusiasts. Events include modern wushu, traditional kungfu, and tai chi qigong, featuring competitions such as sparring and group performances. It is suitable for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to intermediate and advanced.

Introduction for the PAWT registration

Eligibility:

Welcome Wushu groups, and individuals from around the world to participate.
Except for the United States and Canada, representative teams from Pan-American countries must obtain approval from their national Wushu federations to register for participation.
US Teams, Schools, individual athletes and other non Pan American countries and regions can register freely.
The competition of PAWT can also serve as the selection tournament for the USA Kungfu Team. Athletes who are U.S. citizens or green card holders, and are current members of USAWKF, can select “Kungfu Team Trials” in the registration system to participate in the Kungfu selection.

*PAWT is a wushu competition authorized by PAWF and USAWKF. Additionally, the organizing committee has arranged for U.S. groups and individuals participating in the PAWT competition, as well as athletes from non-Pan-American regions, to have the option of whether to stay at the designated hotel

*PAWC is the official Pan-American Wushu competition, and participation must be coordinated through the national Wushu federations of Pan-American countries.
